Account Questions

Accounts in the newest feature of TheFastLanes app. Once created, your account will automatically sync your game data to our server. This
keeps all of your game progress securely saved and is seamlessly accessed by the app. Keep reading below to answer all of your questions!

Do I have to create an account?

Nope! An account is NOT required to continue to play TheFastLane. The app continues to store all of your game information it its local files. When the game is loaded for the first time (or the first time during our update to Version 1.2) you will have the option to create an account or continue playing as normal. The app will save your preference so you won’t have to see that screen again. At any time after, you can click the “Account” button on the main screen and create an account. Your current game details at the time of creation will upload and continue to update to our server after that.

Note: While it is not required to create an account, in the event of data-loss, you will not be able to recover your game progress.

What personal information do you need, and why?

In order to create an account, a valid email address is required. We use this email as an account identifier, in the event that you need to recover your password.

Note: TheFastLane app automatically assigns a unique ID to your account that is transmitted to our server when updating. Your email address is not needed beyond initial account creation, unless account becomes logged out.

What do you do with my information?

Aside from the purposes mentioned in the above section, we do nothing with your information. Shocking right? Your information is stored on the server and is only used for game and account functionality.

(As we progress in our development, accounts may be used for additional features, such as multiplayer, in-app purchases or other extended game and web features. Any changes to our current policy will be updated and made available during that time)
